The night lights and entertainment was great. Memphis is old but there is so much to do. I went to Beale st. The atmosphere was amazing. Music and entertainment. Street vendors and crowds of people enjoying life and having fun in the street. I visited The Amuse Museum and had a great time. I did not like how some people were driving extremely fast and even running red lights. The hotel was nice, except for the unhoused male and female who met us when we arrived, asking for food and the same couple asking for money when we were leaving. They were on the hotel property doing this. The hotel was clean and well kept. The breakfast was the same 2 days in a row. Memphis is great, we always enjoying stopping at the independent restaurants and bars. We love the growth we are seeing and how more and more travelers are visiting even in the heat of the summer. One needs to visit Memphis for the Stax Museum. Also, the Lorraine Motel. Elvis Museum! and BEALE STREET! I am a Texan and I found the BBQ superb.
