This was my first time at the Sonesta Select Hotel. In fact, the hotel's name was all new to me. Guided by the reviews on booking.com, the great photos of the property and of course the price, I was happy to make an online reservation. I am so pleased I selected this hotel. The property was clean and inviting. The room decor was simple elegant with modern furnishing and amenities such as an ironing board and a good working iron. The staff was excellent. Two thumbs up for the front desk team. I arrived on property approximately 2 hours before check in time and a vacant room was quickly identified and I was allowed to access same early at no extra charge. The hotel's Airport Shuttle was a big plus. As it was my first time in Philadelphia, moreso as a transit passenger, I was more than happy to be picked up promptly by way of a simple call to alert the hotel of my arrival. The Shuttle Driver was very professional and knowledgeable and by way of his quick online intervention on check-out morning, I was able to confirm the correct departure terminal. I was only looking for an affordable place to crash for the night until my next flight but I got a whole lot more..an excellent room at a great price and A-grade hospitality (which included room deliveries). The only missing peice from this fabulous experience was breakfast. You guys should consider adding Continental Breakfast to the package and open the Resturant earlier in the afternoon. Since check-in time is 4:00pm and guests may arrive early and hungry, like myself, the restaurant would be the ideal place to pass the time if room is not ready. I loved the fact that it was inside the airport, easy to access. The food was excellent at the restaurant. The bed was very comfy, and the front desk was very polite. The gym was very good. Everything I was number one. I would book again if I go through Philadelphia.

    I had to stay there due to reasons beyond my control or I would have left! There were roaches in the room. The floor was dirty and the stripping was falling away from the wall. The toilet seat was broken, one side hooked on. There were hairs on the bed sheets. Two out of the three staff members I met were very polite and nice. I was told there would be a microwave and refrigerator through booking.com, but when I got there, there wasn't either in the room and there was a microwave in the lobby to use while the lobby was open.

    The room had roaches in it had mouse traps it just was very disgusting it was dirty and you didn’t get any answers even callback for themanager got hung up lineCall back and he never picked up the phone again this is very disappointing so I feel like I would like to be fully refund for this room can I get any answers in very mad about this

    The bath tub had bubbles underneath it, so that I almost fell because of the way the floors of the shower. DIRECTV does not work and all you see when you watch TV are mixed pixels. The staff is rude and very nasty. I couldn’t stand it anymore so I left and now I’m at another hotel that’s so much nicer. I will never go back there again and I would tell anybody that even thinks about it don’t do it pay the extra money you don’t have to worry about bugs.

    I was not pleased at all with my stay. My experience was terrible from the time I entered the office to check in. The office manager did not acknowledge me me promptly and when he did is what short. This was the worst stay that I have ever had in a hotel.

    I didn't get a chance to experience the hotel the guy was not helpful , he told me my card was declined the ran out of the office. Didn't wait for me to contact anyone to see what happened. Found out it was there end.
