    This is an old hotel that has had some renovations.

    This is an old hotel that has had some renovations. It is poorly managed with some inoperable lights in the room. The pool was closed. A security door to the interior does not lock all the time. Some of the lights in the hallway were out. There was a Roch (Bug) by the automatic pancake make during breakfast. I asked the clerk to have the manager call me and gave them my phone number but they did not. There are much better Hotels Kansas to stay at similar pricing.

    Quick Trip. Expected more out of the area. I do not plan on coming back for business. Very disappointed! Hooters was disappointing. The wings were small and not good. Twin Peaks had great fish on Friday.

    The first room I was placed in smelled like mold and it was a lot of moisture in the room. I attempted to try and spray the room with air freshener it did not work. Also there was not batteries in the remote. I went to the desk and asked for another the the young man that was there was pretty nice and he moved us. However this room was still not a 10. If you needed to a quick place to sleep then this is it but if you want a clean room where you are comfortable stay away!

    Coming from Oklahoma, it was a great place to be.

    Coming from Oklahoma, it was a great place to be. You are just a short drive from many main places. Our favorite place to eat was BD's. We were in town for golf and there is no shortage of courses in the area.

    I went to Lenexa for the wedding of my niece.

    I went to Lenexa for the wedding of my niece. Just picked a random Hotel for the price. It was the second lowest priced hotel in the area. Called Studio 6, I think it was a motel 6 before. But the remodel was beautiful inside the rooms. Lots of shopping in Lenexa. A lot of restaurant options. I ate at the Applebee's, because I love Applebee's. But I was only there for one day. There was lots of road construction so you have to really watch what Lane you're in to get off the right exits. But new construction leads to better roads so I had no problem with that. I will have to visit again

    The city of Lenexa is beautiful with many things to do and many places to shop and stay. I love this town. But like any other town in the world there are pros and cons. The town is clean. They take pride in it. There are plenty of places to stay that are awesome, but see my review of the Extended Stay motel for a con. Lenexa has great parks and entertainment and is not far from The Legends outlet mall, the KCK Nascar Speedway, The Sporting KC major league soccer stadium and the KC Monarchs Minor League Baseball stadium. I would recommend a stay in this area anytime!

    My recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Lenexa, Overland Park area, was disappointing. While the hotel has some positives, the negatives significantly impacted my overall experience. Positives: The hotel offers 24-hour access to Costa Coffee and decaf machines, which is convenient for coffee lovers. Drinking water stalls are readily available. The presence of ready-to-eat food, drink, and snack kiosks is a plus for quick bites. The hotel environment is generally quiet and calm.

    Really good deal, there was nothing to complain about, room was quiet, spacious and comfy. I stayed in several rather cheap hotels on this trip, but this was by far the best! Nothing out of the ordinary but overall a good experience.
