    Hotel is close to MTU & you can walk to alot of nice little...

    Hotel is close to MTU & you can walk to alot of nice little shops & restaurants. There’s a trail that below the hotel along the canal where you could walk or bike. Close to fishing & boating. Alot of opportunities depending on what you enjoy doing.

    Older hotel that’s pet friendly but difficult to find...

    Older hotel that’s pet friendly but difficult to find outside spot for dog to got to the bathroom. Expensive for what we got - tv didn’t work, could hear everything in our room… but in a good location to walk town and down by river.

    A historic college town with a mining tradition that serves as the base camp for trips to the best national park in the world, has plenty of white snow, forest greenery, copper, and black taconite. I love it.

    Great proximity to Houghton area.....very easy walking distance to main street and all venues of town (which is good because parking is kind of limited so once you are set for the day best to walk anyway!) Very new facility so everything was right up-to-par.

    Very Comfortable and spacious. Very well equipped with pans, dishes, coffee - Loved the location, only minutes out of Houghton. Beautiful view of the river from our "cabin" and very peaceful/quiet.
