Due to Silicon Valley expanding, Gilroy is now more than just a farming community outside San Jose. The produce stands are exceptional, they have Gilroy Gardens, the community is safe, and it is only ~30min commute to San Jose. Gilroy is the home of the Gilroy rodeo the 2nd weekend in August annually. Exceptionally well run and awesome event! The area is beautiful and very accessible to San Jose. It has been over ten years since we lived in the area. So many things have changed. Traffic is denser than I remember. There are a lot more stores and shopping centers here and we haven't yet visited the other side of town.Guest review byMaria - 2.0

This Hampton Inn & Suites took the COVID compliance way too far. There was no boxed cereal, milk or OJ. There was no coffee even at breakfast. I reserved a “suite” like usual. When I walked in, it was just a HUGE ROOM. It was a hotel room that slept 5 of us with no partition. I have NEVER had to sleep in a room with my daughter’s boyfriend. It was appalling to say the least. Please don’t waste your money unless you like being packed into one room like sardines for $225 a night!!Guest review byKDQuirozUnited States
