Like many small Interstate towns, Deming is what it is.

Like many small Interstate towns, Deming is what it is. Friendly people live there and conduct their lives. I stop in Deming because it is a convenient stopover when I am coming from someplace and heading to someplace else. I've had some pleasant meals there, but they serve it how I like it which is not for everyone.

Most of the street signs were too small to read.

Most of the street signs were too small to read. Totally impossible at night. Travelling west on Pine street automatically gets you onto the interstate with no warning and no possibility of turning back.

Requested a room change ( Reg to handicap) and request was taken care of with no problem. Young lady at the desk was very helpful and courteous. Had dinner reservations @ Adobe Deli - dinner and staff did not disappoint us.. also made a stop @ Lescombes Family Vineyard to purchase our favorite wine from the area.

Deming is an interesting part of the Southwest area history...

Deming is an interesting part of the Southwest area history ... from the Indian tribes that originally settled the area ..... to the early Spanish wine makers .... and not to disparage Hatch New Mexico but Deming is the Chili capitol of the USA ...... they process more green chili than anywhere in America .... and it is Oh!! so good ...... Deming is a fun stop between Albuquerque, El Paso and Tucson/Phoenix. I always stay minimally 2 days ....try it you'll like it

Literally everything was awesome here. I chose this place because the reviews all said how clean it was and it was very clean. Way cleaner than I expected. But what made it such a good stay was the staff. If you're ever in Deming NM and need a place to stay, choose Butterfield!

Breakfast and coffee was good. Pool was quite cold, hot tub wasn't hot. It was a holiday so the place was short staffed, the room didn't get serviced. We spent 2 nights. It was ok as hotel experiences go.

Had to stop for an overnight in Deming. Good parking. Outside area for breakfast although a bit hidden away - only noticed it while checking out.
