This is a busy intersection town with popular highways and...
This is a busy intersection town with popular highways and railroads. The town doesn't look like much but people are friendly. We drove all around looking for a good place to eat. Most were closed already or not popular according to the parking lots. EXCEPT for X1T Smokehouse, Exit 10, on the outskirts of town. The lot was packed! But we only waited a few minutes. The menu was fantastic with good prices. The owner made sure everything was ok and visited a while. We will definitely return! I was told it was the smell of cow manure since the air system pulls in “fresh” air all the time. It was absolutely unbearable! We called the front desk and we had to open the door to the hallway until it left. It came back again before morning. I won’t stay in Dalhart ever again.Guest review byDebbieUnited States
