Central location to many parks and places to see.
Central location to many parks and places to see. If NOT rush hour, about 45 minutes to Tampa and an hour plus to Orlando/Disney Land. Interstate road to these areas have tolls. But only $1.50 to $3 each way. Lakeland has at Mirror Lake a nice park/garden area with great area for children. Mikes and Catfish Country Restaurants (especially the catfish one) we liked and would definitely recommend.Guest review byRobert - 8.0

Hotels in Bartow, like the rest of Florida are hit or miss. You'll pay 2x the rate for the same hotel out west or along the highways in other states. I'd recommend an air b2B before spending under 150 per night on a room in this area. Downtown bartow is quaint and very walkable once you get on the right side of the tracks. downtown boasts an awesome coffee shop called "unfiltered", antiques shops, boutiques and a great craft brewery as well.Guest review byGregoryUnited States
