We love this place. It's basic accommodation but in an amazing location. You eat breakfast and dinner with hippos aside. Welcoming and kind owner who showed us hippos during the evening. Fresh fish from the lake for dinner. Our best experience with accommodation in Uganda. Thanks

Incredible place with amazing people. It exceeded all our expectations. Location and nature around the lodge are breathtaking, wild animals are coming by. This place is amazing in the bush with a direct view on kazinga channel...therefore everyday you can see elephants, hippopotamus.. i saw many elephants in groups....sometimes during the night the hippo go out of the river and cross the lodge aera. The lodge are beautiful clean and with a unbelievable shower . It is an unique place. But what i appreciate it is the kindness of the staff, they are very helpful, polite, open mind, always with the smile...i did 7 accomodations in uganda and it was far the best staff. Thank you justuce the manager he helped me to organize my trip because i am a solo traveller and thank you pierre, innocent, peter....all the staff

The location is fantastic, not directly in the park which gives flexibility if you want to explore other parts, but close enough that you are in the park in under 15 min. The setup and ambience are fantastic, the staff very welcoming, attentive and friendly; special shoutout to Godard and Elizabeth; the food is very good and they have clearly worked on any older feedback ,all in all a fantastic safari lodge.

As a tour operator, I booked this place for my clients. The place was super nice and the communication was very effective. We reached a little late and found Eunice and other two staff waiting for us. This was super amazing. We spent three nights at the property. Every night Hippos came in the compound to feed on every night. Hippos come with their young ones. I saw a whole family of hippos. 😜Mama, Papa and baby hippo. They come twice a nice at night Between 20:00hrs - 21:30 and then come back between 2:30 - 4:00 The place is very close to Kazinga channel boats and few km to Kasenyi gate in Queen Elizabeth national park. Since am a Birder, I could always start my birding while in the compound. I took enough Pictures of birds. The birds you are likely to see are;; Red necked spurfowl, laughing dove, mourning dove, snowy crowned Robin chat, white browed robin chat, black lores babblers, pied crow, marabou stork, village weavers, black headed Gonolek, Dideric cuckoo, ....... Then as you join the main road, there's a bush where you can see variety of birds.
