We stayed in a beach front villa which was 5 metres from the sea, be warned the tide goes out around 500 metres, but great for walking on the sand bars. Spent every morning watching the monkeys. Staff were exceptional.

A wonderful boutique hotel designed in African style with a beautifully kept garden, located right on the beach overlooking the Indian Ocean. Perfectly located swimming pool, overlooking the beach. The hotel provides pool towels and sun loungers (made from local wood and string). The rooms are well-equipped, with comfortable beds, a wardrobe and bedside tables, basic cosmetics, a kettle for tea, a small fridge and a safe. Our room (2-bedroom master suite) had a beautiful balcony view of the pool and ocean. Rooms are cleaned every day. Very nice staff throughout the hotel, always helpful and smiling. We used the hotel restaurant. Very good and healthy food, always nicely presented (bravo to the cook). Wide selection on the menu. We used the shuttle to and from the airport. Everything went smoothly. We arrived late in the evening and a nice touch was the ability to order food despite the late hour. Additionally, the hotel is protected by Masai, so we felt safe.

Wonderful stay at Habibi B&B. The room is spacious and beautiful. The outdoor area is calm and quiet. Beautiful swimmingpool. Moreover, there is an outdoor kitchen that was very useful to cook our own meals. Close to the beach. And Paola is very kind and makes sure you have everything you need for a pleasant stay. We enjoyed the place , beach and environment Also, the staff is very nice, always smiling and helping The food was healthy and delicious , every day, there was a different buffet. The room was exactly as it is on the pictures. The bed was big and comfortable. The hotel area is beautiful and spacious. I really liked that there were enough sunbeds for all guests and the place was never crowed. The pool is great, breakfast is amazing and in general the food at the restaurant was very good. I also loved the location, Michamvi beach: I was afraid that it will be too hidden with no services/restaurants, but there was everything there what is needed. It was quiet, but not too quiet.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. They really went out of their way to make the whole experience as convenient and relaxing as possible.     The resort was clean and had the island atmosphere. Food was good and a variety to choose wwwith different restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Just a reminnder that you will pay extra at the airport for insurance fees and also extra tax fees at the hotel if its not included in your original price.

    This area has less tourism than some other areas in Zanzi...

    This area has less tourism than some other areas in Zanzi bar, it has what you need, different restaurangs, a super market, beachbar and so on. There is not so many other tourists here so you feel like its really a part of an small island. If you are looking for highend dining and alot of shopping then i advise you to look for another area or do as we did - get a car or a taxi its ok priced for a full day. The traffic was really suprising - its was better then most so called modern countries - slow, keeping distance -respecting each other - we rented a car for 3 days and it was super nice. We payed 30usd/day + 10usd for the local driving license - dont drive to fast or drunk - the police are really on there toes - and mind the big roadbumps... We ate a lot of lobster and fish - always fresh - never dissapointed, we also ate alot of vegetarian food - its everywere great dishes.

    The location was excellent.

    The location was excellent. The vegetation was very nice, and the seating places were very comfortable. Following my unfavourable interaction with cats, we were upgraded to a bigger room with an ocean view since I have ailurophobia (cat phobia). Thanks to the hotel owners for such a gesture. We had an issue with our bank card, and they also gave us more time during our stay to sort this out. Disliked · Being an Ailurophobia (Cats phobic), I did not enjoy the outdoor space because several cats roamed everywhere, including the restaurant, balconies and stairs. This has nothing to do with the owners but my personal condition. I advise those with similar conditions to avoid this place. Areas of improvement include breakfast - more food diversity and a balanced diet are needed. The beds in the rooms need to be fixed to avoid noise. Bathrooms need upgrading.

    Spice market was very interesting to learn and see how the herbs and spices we use on a daily basis is grown and cultivated. Stone Town has a lot of history and a spice shoppers paradise. Prison Island wasn’t bad, expected more but the turtles made it worth the visit.

    Very small quiet village on the east coast of Zanzibar, perfect for a relaxing romantic vacation. If some action is needed you can go to the nearby Kiwendwa, only 20 20-minute drive, or to the bigger more touristy areas in the north up to an hour drive. But to enjoy the island in full Uroa is one of the best places. And the best food! (we have tried in 5 different villages across Zanzibar!

    The tourism activities they superb I enjoyed nakupenda sand beach nd jet skiing in Kuwenda beach,and the stone town cashew nuts were very nice nd fresh, out of all the tour guide I booked for excursions with their services are wonderful we were able to get easy to our excursions places

    Amazing, magical place with the most heart-warming staff you will ever meet. Clean and romantic room, exceptional food and the best saturday night party in Zanzibar! This is the place to relax and enjoy peaceful, romantic holiday. Prices were reasonable and the hotel took care of our transportation and blue safari etc. Would definately recommend. The beach was absolutely beautiful and the massage we got was the best we have ever experienced.

    Amazing hotel and wonderful staff. We had booked a Garden suite and to our pleasant surprise we were upgraded to Deluxe Ocean View. Amazing room overlooking the pool area and the ocean of course. Very clean, just the occasional ant by the pool area. Beds are comfortable, all the food very good and lots of coctails to choose from. Would love to stay again.

    The view from our room was magical,the staff and hotel employees made sure we felt comfortable from the check in to check out,the food was also very delicious everyday.     Zamu Hotel is very clean and their rooms smell very hygienic .The staff were very helpful. The prices for foods it was worthy. Highly recommended to book here for a good vacation. We got complementary Hibiscus juice on arrival.
