Review of Amani Paje Hotel We really enjoyed our stay at Amani Paje Hotel. One great point is that the check-in time is at 12:00, so we could arrive early and enjoy the beach right away. The room was excellent – clean, organized, and spacious. There were plenty of power sockets on the walls, and a kettle to heat water for coffee or tea. The bathroom was very clean and smelled fresh, with hot water in the shower. The bed sheets were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of fruits, coffee, juice, pancakes, cakes, muffins, scrambled eggs, and fried eggs. The staff was fantastic – the Italian manager communicated very well and she explained everything in detail, and the rest of the team was friendly and supportive. I truly recommend Amani Paje Hotel. Thank you!

During our entire trip in Tanzania, we had not experienced such hospitality equal to BaraBara. The staff is absolutely amazing, the breakfast is easily one of the best ever, fantastic coffee, beautiful place with focus on eco, sustainability and recycling. Pure and 100% quality. Don't let yourself be discouraged by the fact that the place is not waterfront. You will not be disappointed.

From the moment I arrived, everyone was friendly. The room was big, AC and a ceiling fan made the room cool. I was on the 1st floor, overlooking the pool. They have a good choice of food and drinks available in the open-air restaurant, at the best prices you can find. A short walk leads to the beach, which is stunning, a white sand paradise with lots of kite surfers. Picture perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at „the garden“ and would definitely recommend staying there! The interior of the place was well chosen, it was very clean and the staff was really helpful. They even helped me organise a birthday cake for my friend. The managers are a danish couple, who live at the hotel with their two lovely children. On our last day I got a privat yoga lesson by the manager, which was amazing. Also the breakfast is so delecious! The best breakfast we had in Tanzania (and we’ve been staying in Tanzania for 8 weeks).

    It was a great stay for me and my family. The best part of this hotel is the entire staff. Extremely friendly and courteous.Always smiling and greeting at every opportunity.A special thanks goes to Fadhila who made us and especially my daughter feel very special and welcome.The Manager was also very friendly and polite.Overall I would rate my stay as exceptional.

    Paje is a very awesome and lively place to visit. As a solo traveller, I had no difficulty looking for activities, places to eat, or party, since they were all around. Definitely a place to visit over and over again

    A wide variety of restaurants, good food. Lovey eatery's on the beach overlooking the ocean. Easy to walk around to the market and the local shops. Ideal holiday for those who love the ocean and water sport's, the local friendliness is an added bonus.

    Paje has long white sandy beaches with beautiful turquois water .. a wind surfers paradise. Great for long lazy days just to soak up the sun and enjoy good food. It is very easy to get around Paje, we spent most of our time eating at Bento, quality food at affordable price.

    The Paje beach itself didn't seem that swimmable due to so...

    The Paje beach itself didn't seem that swimmable due to so many kite surfers taking over the beach. But the property has an amazing pool that you can spend hours in, which is what we did and then went down to the beach for sundowners and dinners in the evenings. Every restaurant we ate at was delicious. Our top favorites were Hello Capitano, Zanzibarista, Roots, Plants, and Basil. The Paje Square cafe is nice for coffee and pastries as well.

    The beaches were Picture perfect beautiful!

    The beaches were Picture perfect beautiful! Take the tides into consideration; low tide really pulls back VERY far, but it made for an amazing walk INTO the ocean. I would recommend beach shoes as we did spot a few sea urchint's. High tide was great for swimming. Calm and warm with little to no currents. Lots of Hotels, Restuarants and Bars on the beach, and shops nearby which was convenient. My only issue is that is was quiet dirty. Not on the beach but all the roads around the main beach. Also the Beach Boys, Masai and Hawkers on the Beach was INSANE. Everyone is trying to sell you something. It was extremely annoying. Other then that, Paje is a busy place, with lots of activities and lots to do... Becareful of being taken advantage of regarding pricing, compare and negotiate or you will be hussled...

    I would recommend this lovely little place to my family and all of my friends. Amani has 14 rooms at the most beautiful beach of Zanzibar. The rooms are very clean, the staff is exceptionally friendly and the food is delicious. We also couldn’t get enough of the massages. Don’t miss out! There is also more than enough to do in the area. We went scuba diving and kite surfing. Both just a short walk away from the hotel. A place like heaven and paradise to the square!

    The hotel looked amazing and it was so clean and spacious. I loved the outdoor shower the most. The breakfast was amazing, one of the best breakfasts I’ve had during my stay in Zanzibar. The front desk was very helpful during our stay, especially Armani, he went above and beyond for us and he was very accommodating. Overall our experience at the hotel was amazing and we would recommend to everyone to stay at Samawa if you are in Paje.

    Very nice hotel with a lovely garden, great staff, very close to the beach and near restaurants and shops. They also have a nice pool, yoga classes, massage and can organise trips for the guests. The room was big and very comfortable, with the aircon working really well (and you need it in February when it's so hot in Zanzibar).

    I had the best stay! Hí Zanzibar has an amazing Skybar where you can enjoy the sunset and dance to great music from a DJ or a live band! The food and cocktails are delicious, and the staff is very kind and helpful. But the best thing about the Hí Zanzibar hotel is the owners, they make you feel like you’re ‘home’!
