I always stay at Intrendy when in Taipei; couple of minutes accessible from MRT, a train that connects to TPE airport. The breakfast had more options compared to before, now some days they serve scramble eggs and omelet, which were really good. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and good temperature. Personnel from hotel are always attentive. I thank Mily from front desk that was always attentive to me.

What I liked most about the Valora Hotel Resonance Taipei, Tapestry Collection by Hilton was its modern, elegant design and attention to detail. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well soundproofed—perfect for relaxing after a day in the city. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile. The location is ideal, with easy access to the MRT and major Taipei attractions. Breakfast was varied and delicious, offering both local and international options. If I could give this hotel an 11 that is what I would do! The check-in experience was amazing. Maruko was quite simply the most impressive hotel clerk I have ever met. She provided us with very helpful advice for our trip, and did everything in such a cheerful and effective way that one could not help but to be impressed. She even left us with a lovely, hand-written card at the end (complete with very cute pictures which she drew). I may frame this card :) After staying previously at a hotel in Taipei which did not meet our expectations, it was such a joy to stay at the CityInn. Everything was done just in the right way. It was clean, restful and smart. They kept our luggage for us as we travelled around which made a huge difference. Obvously I would stay here again - indeed I don't think there is anywhere else I would even think about staying in Taipei.

The hotel is a delight for the eyes from the sidewalk already, even before entering. Golden colors, glass, carpet, lightning and perfume! Beautiful entrance hall as well. The doorman is ready to help, the kind of employee who can anticipate. Very polite and friendly people at the reception desk too. Classy elevator. And finally the room: above expectation. Larger than I expected (No, this was not an upgrade). Clever equipments. Excellent beds. No sound from outside nor from the hotel itself. Bathroom classy too. Excellent bathtub and shower. It was a pleasure to come home after much walking in the city. We took the underground from station Songjiang-Nanjing, 4 to 5 min walk to the north. We could then reach a large number of sites in just a few stops. Perfect solution.
