Plenty to do in Penghu and round Magong if you have a scooter. Otherwise there is little public transportation. Fireworks from April to June a highlight. The room is an OK size for one person and it's fairly clean. The breakfast was very good. The staff doesn't really speak english but they're very kind and will do their best to help you with whatever you need. They also provide free shuttle from and to the airport, which is very useful.
