I have so much to say about our amazing experience. We were welcomed by the lovely Elif who offered to give us some tips for our visit to Cappadocia. She gave us a map of all the sightseeings and gave us a day to day to do list so we would see all the good things, based on what we wanted and how long we would stay. This was all just a service she wanted to give us, which was absolutely amazing. The room was clean and spacious, with an amazing view of the Pigeon Valley. The entire hotel was clean and cosy. There is a very nice pool and rooftop terrace. Throughout your stay, you can ask for drinks and all the employees will gladly serve you some, all for free. Talking about the employees, all of them, every single one of them were absolutely friendly and sweet. From the staff at the desk to the staff of the kitchen and cleaning (we even had nice chitchats with Emel, who was in charge of our room), all of them welcomed and treated us as family. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The employees do everything to accommodate your wishes. The head chef asked us every morning how we wanted our eggs, with a big smile on his face. It was so amazing that we added another day and stayed longer. This hotel will make you feel like home and the employees will become your family. I can’t wait to come back.

From the moment we arrived at Harem Suites Cappadocia, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready with helpful tips for exploring the area. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated with authentic Cappadocian charm, and offered stunning views of the fairy chimneys. We loved the peaceful atmosphere—perfect for relaxing after a day of hot air balloon rides and sightseeing. Breakfast was a real highlight: fresh, delicious, and served with a breathtaking view of the valley. The location was ideal, just a short walk to local restaurants, shops, and key attractions, yet tucked away enough to feel quiet and private. The personal touches made all the difference—small details in the room, friendly conversations, and genuine care from the team. Harem Suites felt less like a hotel and more like a home away from home. We left with wonderful memories and would absolutely return on our next trip to Cappadocia.

The breakfast was unbelievable, and served on the rooftop terrace overlooking the fairy chimneys. The dinner menu was limited but the meals were delicious and I didn't find anything comparable at other nearby restaurants. The local wine was delicious and available by the glass, which I always appreciate. The staff was fantastic, going out of their way to remember details like exactly how I take my coffee and recommending excursions. When I requested a couple of minor repairs to the room, they were taken care of immediately. My room was spotless and extremely quiet, and the bed was sheer heaven. Loved having a cozy robe and extra pillows and blankets just in case.

    Beautiful and quiet place. Less busy and less expensive than Georme. Locations near Uçhisar castle is very lively but rule is same. closer your stay to main hub costly and busier it gets. Less than 10 mins drive to Georme town centre. Uchisar castle is worth visiting. Pigeon valley is 10 mins walk

    We didn't spend much time here, but easy flight from...

    We didn't spend much time here, but easy flight from Istanbul. Convenient for the balloon rides, but not directly in the town they fly from. A preferable location if you want a little more peace and quiet, and enough choices for dining. Lovely to walk around and spectacular views from many parts.

    Uchisar provides great access to all the sights of Cappadocia. Our stay at La Casa offered the perfect mix of cave/building and was in a great location. The breakfast was excellent. The close by Janti Cafe is also excellent, highly recommend. One thing to note is that google gets a bit confused with the one way streets, but once you get the hang of navigating in Uchisar, it is very easy to get around and you can see the castle from many of the nearby hiking areas.

    It worked great for us.

    It worked great for us. We had a rental and wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the busier Goreme. If you don't have a car and are staying in Cappadocia for the first time, perhaps Uchisar is not the best option since it will limit your walking distance options of restaurants, shops and tour agencies, we loved it though and found it to be the perfect homebase to explore the region. It seems like some of the more exclusive hotels and restaurants are also in Uchisar so it depends on what works best for you.

    Small town area next to the rock castle.

    Small town area next to the rock castle. Quiet, with lots of restaurants. The top of the mountain has more shops and art galleries to see along with cafes. Once you step out of the area it is mostly desolated and filled with caves. There is lots of new construction going on in the peripheral area. We ate at the statehouse around our hotel and it was great. A bit expensive but gourmet like treatment. The open air museum is only 10 min away and the castle is right in the center of Uchisar.     I had an incredible stay at Carmin Cave Hotel. The staff were genuinely some of the kindest and most hospitable people I’ve met on my travels. They made me feel completely at home, always accommodating and attentive to anything I needed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. They even had great discount with restaurant within the facility that added to the whole experience. Everything felt personal, thoughtful, and relaxed. Highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Cappadocia, you’ll be well taken care of.

    Hotel just 10 minutes walk from the Uchisar castle. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was a standard Turkish breakfast. Fresh made omelette for all 5 of us. The owner was very flexible in letting us leave our luggage while we were going on a tour of Cappadocia. Decent en-suite shower. Good value for money.

    This is a beautiful, spacious and very comfortable cave hotel equipped with all the facilities you would need. Breakfasts were delicious - bread,cheeses,yoghurt,home made jams and honey. The town of Uchisar is lovely, cobblestone streets and with magnificent views over pigeon valley.

    You will enjoy the experience of staying in a cave hotel very close to Uchisar castle. On a hilltop and very close to a lot of places which you need to see. It has a good restaurant and a good spread for breakfast. It has a lot of high end restaurants and bars in that area.
