    This is an exquisitely decorated, beautful place to stay. The room was very comfortable and the staff exceptionally helpful. It is in a quiet area away from the old city which is always incredibly busy and noisy. The pool was beautuful as was the garden. There are nice places to eat nearby and historic places to visit.

    La marsa beach was right outside our guest house.

    La marsa beach was right outside our guest house. We could walk to the main part of the beach and the shops and restaurants. We were out of season, visiting during Ramadan so it was relatively quiet. Some restaurants were not open at all, some only during the day, others only at night. We managed to find somewhere to eat every day. I can recommend the Cliff restaurant, Pasta mi Basta (very accommodating with our friend who had various intolerances), Kenko food bar and Blu Blu (Sidi Bou). There was a supermarket which catered for our needs. We also visited the capital Tunis and Sidi Bou Said which had lovely shops and stunning views.

    Very clean and beautiful house.

    Very clean and beautiful house. Esma and son were accommodating hosts. We were expecting a hotel rather than a B&B. Bed had partial walls on both sides with shelves so easy to bump head or body. Breakfast was the same both days—Tasty and fresh but nothing memorable. Several restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Bakery as well. Value for money seems a little expensive.

    Dar Corniche is a little oasis in La Marsa, its cool marble interior and chic white furnishings offset by tasteful art, light fittings and objets. But what really sets it apart are the staff, who were welcoming, helpful and attentive without being overbearing or intrusive- not always an easy balance to strike. The breakfast on the terrace next to the pool was memorable, and the cherry on the cake was the private access to the beach where we were able to take a refreshing dip each morning. Really exceptional accommodation.

    This is one of the best stays I had, hotel gives you a hint of both culture and history. Location is in the heart of La Marsa with easy access to transportation. Room was very comfortable, bright and clean. Breakfast was the highlight of the stay where all guests are gathered on this antique dining table and variety of food is being offered. Ms. Sonia, the owner, is very attentive and helpful, and she is the one who made this stay remarkable.

    The room was full of character and in a great central location. The hotel in an old house has been lovingly restored and is a delight. the simple breakfast served in the bright, covered courtyard was great. Staff could sadly not offer me a late check-out but cared for my luggage while I was out and gave me a room to change in before I left.

    Very cosy nice little hotel in La Marsa, about 5 minutes walk to the centre/train station and the beach/sea. I also walked up to Sidi bou said within 30 -40 minutes. Very helpful and friendly staff, and a nice garden. Good value for money.
