    The beach is generally quite dirty and it seems that the government/council does not do much about it. This applies to restaurants located right on the shore as well (e.g Sunset Cafe). The main road going around the island carries a lot of traffic, making the beach unbearably loud. It is a shame because Koh Samui has a lot of natural beauty. I wish visitors, locals and the government respected it as much as they do Koh Tao.

    Nathon is one of the arrival points to Koh Samui.

    Nathon is one of the arrival points to Koh Samui. There is not much to see there, though there are some beaches in the vicinity worth to explore. The food is good and not overpriced compared to Lamai or Chaweng beach. Nathon is small, everyrhing in Town is in walking distance.

    Awesome place. Fantastic location. Close to the ocean and right in the heart of Nathon town. Lots of restaurants, shops, massage, plus 7-11, Big C, Lotus etc. Super friendly helpful staff. Great room too. Big comfy bed with huge bathroom plus a living room and a full size fridge and TV in the living room. Air Con worked great. Nice and quiet area, very peaceful. We were pleasantly surprised and would love to go back again. Totally recommend this place to anymore traveling to Nathon on Koh Samui.

    The staff - especially Gigi couldn’t have been more helpful. The hostel really felt like a home stay. The food was incredible, we were able to rent bikes there and book excursions. Something to consider is that the hostel is located far away from the touristy areas of koh samui, but in our case this was an advantage as it was super chilled. 10/10 would recommend this hostel to anyone and thank you again Gigi, you were incredible.
