If you choose facilities in this area of Khao Lak, we have to take into consideration that evening venue are limited; in this place you have to Mini markets and 3 small restaurants outside and on the beach there are some restaurants too. Party = 0. Beaches in Kl are for sure one of the best in thailand. The rooms are very nice, I suggest to take a room with pool if you are with friends or family; the Ressort is new and staff is very friendly and for sure there English is far better than in other places

We stayed at the Khao Lak Marriot on an opening deal and were incredible impressed to say the hotel hadn't even been open for a month. The staff were all superb and each restaurant offers something different. We loved the vast beach at the property and the adult only pool was a very welcomed amenity.

Really great place! Beautiful and quiet location. Rooms are big and clean. Swimming pool is really nice. Free bicycles and scooters for rent. Staff is great and super helpfull. Would love to stay here again someday 🙂

Our family apartment was amazing! Big and very comfy, with direct pool access. There are a lot of activities for children and adults! A magician is around the place all the time, a coconut boat going through Asia’s longest pool, they offer bikes, excursions and a lot more. So nice!

Amazing buffet breakfast - fantastic selection and delicious. Very good wait staff, nice atmosphere and relaxed. Beautiful rooms. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was very spacious, very nicely finished, clean and modern. Very nice, luxurious toiletries provided (Marlin & Goetz). Excellent housekeeping services. Beautiful clean beach, multiple pools and multiple restaurants - the pizza oven by the kids play pool was a favourite! Great kids and teens club with different activities and fun games. Gardens are beautifully maintained and bit of fun to see the chickens, ducks, turtle and rabbits.

The very nice couple who owns the hotel are always there to take care of you with a smile. We felt at home with them so that we had to book there again for our last night in Khao Lak (we wanted to extend most of our stay, but they were fully booked). We actually love that the hotel is not so big, giving a more personal touch and better service to the guests. We also love the breakfast that are served. You can rent a bike/scooter from the hotel, and they offer airport transfer at a better price than what you find at the airport. Thank you Mrs Weena for helping us with our hotel transfers and making us feel at home.😊

Our stay at Boutique Hotel Khao Lak was by far exceeding our expectations. I stayed for a whole week with my mom. We wanted a quite place with not a lot of tourists, which was exactly what we got. Raila and all the staff was of great help from the beginning of the booking until we left to continue our journey through Thailand. The beach nearby was with only few people and there where amazing large stones at the end of the beach and also partly black sand. Raila helped us organize our trips. There was a possibility for laundry wash by hotel, we had everything we needed and beyond. This was my third time in Thailand beach location and this place was the best. Nearby is a small part of Khao Lak that has everything we needed and also there is a perfect local restaurant about five minutes away, where locals eat as well. I can't recommend this accomodation enough, it was absolutely the best.

    If you want late nights, loud music and a party life, don’t go to Kho Lak. If you want rest and relaxation, great food and no crowds this is the place. Pick your time of year and the town seems deserted.

    Not as busy as Phuket, less people but lots of restaurants with reasonable prices. Very family orientated, no night clubs & pole dancing girly bars. Khao Lak is what Phuket was 30 years ago but is becoming more popular.

    We love khao lak as its a lovely town as it suits our need for relaxation, great food and its not hectic . If you're after entertainment and the business if a city, then it's not the place for you

    If you want to hang around with far to many unwanted, Khao...

    If you want to hang around with far to many unwanted, Khao Lak is the place to go. It certainly focusing on tourists with bad taste from a special part of the world. There are a lot of nice places nearby if you just stay clear of central Khao Lak. The unwanted are sadly still to many.

    We have been to khao Lak 7 times now because we love it...

    We have been to khao Lak 7 times now because we love it so much. We have eaten in many different places , but the Orchid is our favourite restaurant. All of the eateries were very reasonably priced. Khao Lak is a very walkable resort and safer now there are two pedestrian crossings. We are older and some pavements have quite high steps down and up, but there are usually little ramps for less abled or children's buggies. There are plenty of mini marts to buy supplies and several pharmacies to get advice or medications if needed. Also plenty of little craft / souvenir shops. There are plenty of bank machines and several money exchange kiosks. Khao Lak is basically one very long main street with shops etc on both sides of the street. It is not a late night resort, the whole. Most restaurants are closed by 10p.m.

    Lovely quite town, away from the hustle and bustle of Phuket. No traffic. Beautiful beaches. a large selection of restaurants. Plenty of local taxis to take you around. Very friendly local community. A totally different more chilled vibe than Phuket.

    Best hotel in Khao lak! It’s our 2nd time here and we will surely come again! Since last year a lot of improuvements: espresso machine for breakfast, water dispencer in the building, replacement of plastic bottles by glass ones. Kudos to this hotel and his personal! A big thank you to Tee and to the whole team! Best breakfast, super clean and big rooms, super personal, best plave on thebeach!

    Nicely designed hotel next to the sandy beach and close to Khao Lak village. Waterpark- indisputable attraction for families. Kids Club. Many other water facilities for kids and adults. Many restaurants and bars (Coconut Bar!). Well equipped gym plus pool table. Mind blowing breakfast at Manta Ray Restaurant.

    We loved this hotel. It was a great place to stay for the Khao Lak surf festival on memory beach. The staff were amazing especially the waitress Tui (hopefully I spelt that correctly) she asked for our names and stop to speak with us. We also got a free room upgrade which was greatly appreciated.
