Very nice accommodation close to Kalmar. Actually one big living room, bedroom with large indoor bathroom and open kitchen which used to be the gymnasium in this former school building. One large bed with two mattresses and two extra beds in the connecting changing rooms. Very nice views, outside lawn and free parking space available. Lovely owners. As they live in the same building the gymnasium is the only room available. Please be aware no breakfast available. Dog cookies and food bowls for when you bring your dogs. The owners have a couple of lovely dogs.

This unique accommodation is housed in the back of a church. It features comfortable beds and a great shower, and we particularly enjoyed the spacious shared lounge area. The host met us on site and welcomed us, ensuring we knew where everything was and were comfortable. The location is great for staying out of the hustle and bustle of Kalmar, but close enough to drive in and explore.

Quiet park setting close to Kalmar castle. Excellent breakfast and dining facilities. The outdoor bar and courtyard looked appealing.

The little balcony and the view of the sea. Great restaurant downstairs and we skipped the breakfast on the second day and grabbed a cinnamon roll at the local bakery which is 1 min walk from the apartment. Was great.

A special place with its own atmosphere. The lavish free meals monday-thursday. The supercosy bar on the first floor overlooking the castle and museum. The weird yet appropriate garden ! Super place.
