We did a whistle-stop tour of Trollhattan in the evenings of the 3 days we were working and on the morning of the day we travelled back. In that time we fell under the spell of the place. If you like industrial heritage and water combined with nature and clean fresh air, this is the place for you. Travelling in late may we found the temperature to be about 2 degrees C under our Lancashire temperatures for the same period. The place is spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the bridges, of which there are many, the Saab museum and the forests on the mountains were amazing, with an awesome view over the valley to the massive lake that you would think could be an ocean.Guest review byJayUnited Kingdom - 10.0
One of my favorite cities in Sweden.
One of my favorite cities in Sweden. The lock complex is super interesting and there is so much to wander around. The complex is huge! Also it is really nice to have the nature directly next to the river and thus have the historical heritage and the nature close to each other.Guest review byJoostSweden

Also the pool really needs some cleaning, the bottom of the pool and the walls are very dirty so it was a bit depressing. Beds were ok! Everyone is genuinely friendly. The dinner buffet (included in the price we booked) is simple and tasty. There are tea facilities in the room as well as bottomless coffee in the lobby, along with pastry. The breakfast buffet is large and tasty. All in all a calm, friendly, warm atmosphere.
