    Linkoping is nice, Have been there a couple of times over...

    Linkoping is nice, Have been there a couple of times over the years visiting my daughter. This time I stayed at Scandic between trains as the location is excellent - close to the railway station and the city centre. I would stay there again if I get a cool room. I did stay there again 27 - 28/7 and got a cool room facing the street thanks to Abbe. He was very helpful and interacted very nicely with family with children at check-in. Abbe gets *****!

    Linköping's charm lies in its peaceful atmosphere and proximity to nature. However, the long, dark winters can take a toll, and the city's nightlife and cultural offerings may not satisfy those seeking a more vibrant urban experience. While the city is well-connected to other parts of Sweden, public transportation can be limited outside of peak hours.

    Lots to do in Linköping, particularly if you are interested...

    Lots to do in Linköping, particularly if you are interested in walks or hiking in nature. A charming and well-organized town. Easy to get around on the busses, or just to walk about the town (in Summertime anyway).

    I love this town.. it's safe, with nice atmosphere, lovely...

    I love this town.. it's safe, with nice atmosphere, lovely river and lake and beautiful city centre.. lots of amazing parks and coffee shops and great restaurants.. I enjoyed Jord restaurant the most.. I'd always come back to this place.. I have such beautiful memories with this place.. Love Sweden.

    Nice city.

    Nice city. Go watch three times national champions Linköping FC play football, if you have the time. The former club of Pernille Harder, Magdalena Eriksson, Kosovare Asslani and Lina Hurtig among others. Watch the stars of tomorrow!

    This city is just the right size for a "home vacation"...

    This city is just the right size for a "home vacation" stayover: great bars and restaurants and plenty of sights and activities, but small enough to avoid flooding by tourists. The Air Force museum is a must, and there are plenty of parks for picnics and people-spotting. Also, you can kayak down the main stream or try the cable wakeboard facility. The Valla open air museum offers both rural scenery and curious museums.

    The location is perfect, and the amenities were good. The breakfast buffet was great. The staff were wonderful, especially Inca who looked after us really well. The restaurant & bar within the hotel has top-notch food, and quite reasonably priced. We also got a 50krona voucher each to use in the restaurant. The hotel is also great value for money, especially given its location. We would quite happily stay here again, but not when the weather is hot.

    The hotel had lovely clean rooms, the restaurant was very nice, has a great selection for breakfast. Shame the TVs only have the most basic of channels, it would have been nice to see at least YouTube as an option, especially as it only recognises hdmi input for a laptop.

    Small room but clean and comfortable. Few parking in front of the hotel. Very good breakfast although we are the last couple entered the restaurant. Good location and we have enjoyed the walk in the park back the hotel and also along the river.
