Best accommodation during our entire trip to Rwanda - an amazingly large room with an unbeatable view of Lake Kivu right from the bed. Absolute cleanliness everywhere. What a great place! Paul is very good company and so are the animals. The breakfast was amazing. There are some fancy hotels around but Paul arguably has the best spot of all with great views all around. Definitely recommended.

I wish I had stayed here more instead of Gisenyi... It's bliss by the lake. I added two nights here at the last moment and it turned out to be the best place I stayed in Rwanda. Birds chirping in the morning, deck chairs to relax in by the lake, excellent breakfasts. I loved it! And I must say the communication with the hotel was excellent. I really recommend Kibuye instead of Gisenyi. TIP: Ask the receptionist about the restaurant that's just next to it, you just need to know how to get there, because you kind of enter through a small gate that the security of the nearby establishment need to open for you.
