Small town, nothing much to visit but A LOT to visit around it, the car is a must have. Unfortunately there is no rent-a-car in Hateg, but if you plan your trip by train, you can select Deva or Cluj as destination and rent a car from there, after that go to Hateg.Guest review byRaducu Ionuț

Hateg is a fairly small town, yet the location is important. The room and the location were satisfactory. The breakfast was decent, and relatively cheap, although far from great. There is no reception at night, so the key is received at the petrol station, which I never experienced before, but that was fine as an experience. The place is situated in the central part of Hațeg. There are some nice restaurants around, as well as shops and bakeries. There is a kitchen with all the essentials, so you can cook if you want.
