it is definitly bigger than all the other accomodations we have slept at in Réunion. It has more of a hotel-feeling. But the overall vibe was really nice and relaxed. The room was good and clean. The food was excellent and all staff members were extremely friendly! We used it as a base to do hikes in the area.

Perfect location with a fantastic view of the Salazie cirque. Mario and Michelle are such good hosts, and really enjoy having guests. The food they prepared for us was superb, as was the home made Rum punch of many flavours.

Because of the cyclone Belal, it was unfortunately not possible to stay in the accommodation, the route to the town was blocked. However, I'd like to emphasize how professionally Jacques André handled the situation. He kept me well informed about things, informed me promptly about the fact that the route to the town was blocked after the cyclone and he immediately and proactively offered a solution. That's a perfect example for superb customer service and experience.

One of the best places we have ever been. Tastefully decorated apartment, spotlessly clean,all appliances you need for a perfect stay. The owners are soo nice,gave us welcome drink and snack and repeat the same next evening . We ordered breakfast,do not miss it , fruit and home produced products. Wonderful house at banana plantation in de mountains! The host is super friendly and thoughtful. Nicely decorated and has everything you need. Beautiful view from the garden and close to many nice hikes. We had an amazing stay, way too short!

Everything was good. If You come by public bus, take No. 83 at gare de St. Andre, exit at the station Mare Paule d'eau and walk 50 m. back. Car rental is not necessary, public transport is available and it is well arranged.

Such a beautiful place to stay! Nesting birds, farmland, palmtrees, mountains and a very well kept garden with flowers everywhere! The lady of the house keeps the property in an excellent state and everything is as clean as in a 5 star hotel. Furthermore, she is very attentive and serves an epic breakfast, directs you to the few restaurants around and the property is very close to hiking trails that go into Mafate.

Great place, we loved our stay! The house is new, modern and well built. the terrace was super nice and the garage outside absolutely beautiful! Everything was comfortable and really met our expectations. the location was perfect for hiking with many trails only a 5-10min drive away. very peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was in the fridge and fresh bread and something sweet was brought every morning. We liked the fact that it was very private and you don’t depend on breakfast schedules or such.

    These apartments were among the best I’ve ever stayed in. Cozy and tidy, they truly have everything you might need for your comfortable stay. Just a few steps away from waterfalls (yes, waterfalls – not just one!), with a chameleon living right behind the house, only a few minutes by car to Salazie, and a private pool in the yard! A heartfelt thank you to the owner — I truly hope to stay here again one day!

    Well located on the main street of Hell-Bourg. Close to the start of many hiking trains and the ruins of the old thermes. The hotel has a restaurant where food is served also during lunchtime and dinner. the room is basic and gets a bit cold during the night, but electric heater is provided for. With the clear sky the view from the hotel balcony to the surrounding mountains is very nice.

    Christel is a very friendly and helpful host. She makes you feel as a part of her family and like if you were at home. Moreover is an amazing cooker. The place is easy and cozy (not a luxurious hotel) but with everything that you need, and next to Mafate cirque.

    We spent few days on this place and had really good time. The place is really comfortable, the hosts are really nice and the view is incredible. The location is great for the different hikes in Salazie. I highly recommand !
