This property is marvellous and spotless as well as the outside as inside. Entering the hotel is like entering another world. The room had all the comfort we needed, clean, everything new and the shampoo, conditioner and hand soap smelled amazing. We slept great in a good size bed.

The room was very cosy, having all the necessary amenities! The bed was very comfortable, and the blinds fully darkened the room even during the day, and the area was quiet! To put in perspective, I have cronic insomnia, and I usually have a lot of trouble sleeping during travels, yet I slept like a baby all the 3 nights! The breakfast was also really nice and complete! The staff was super super friendly, you can see they were genuinely interested in helping you, I asked for a taxi and they offered me a ride towards the station in Valença! And we were really nice to talk to. Additionally, there's an excellent bike rental service, with very high-quality top-end electric bicycles available! The purpose of this trip was to explore the surrounding villages and bike paths by bike, and I ended up doing 120km in total, and it was with ease with the supplied bike! Overall, I'm super happy with the service, and it was a magnificent experience, super good value, quality waaaaay above the 2 star rating! I hope to come back one day to explore more in the Minho area! Thank you for everything!

I arrived mid morning, check in opens at 3 but I was given my room straight away. I had booked a single but was upgraded to a double. The gentleman at reception was very friendly and helpful. Room was spotlessly clean, great location and excellent value for money. Ideal for anybody walking the camino. I would happily stay here again.

From Pilgrims for Pilgrims. - Ana has a great heart and helps really to get most out of the pilgrimage to Santiago. Giving also background information, as well learnings from her own pilgrimage helps a lot. I enjoyed the dinner with other pilgrims a lot - a very nice exchange. The pool in the garden is as well a nice way to cool down your feet.

    Valença is a lovely town half of which is still inside the fortifications. The restaurants and shops are friendly and accommodating the views from the fortress are beautiful. A word of "warning" the food is amazing and the portions HUGE!

    Fabulous modern property, good location for Valenca just outside fortress. Really great communication from Andre, who welcomed us and gave us great tips for the Camino and also local restaurants. The treats in fridge were great and also supermarket below. The apartment was well equipped and peaceful. Highly recommend.

    The facilities are new and very well equipped (I must confess I was pleasantly surprised with the dishwasher). The owners were delightful and always available to assist with anything necessary. The kids loved the pool. The property is also very well located if you wish to get to know Valença, Monção, and Melgaço.
