Our stay was overall excellent. The room was spacious, blending original architecture with contemporary conveniences and thoughtful amenities, including charming touches like regional biscuits in a little basket. A wonderfully spacious and most comfortable bed. The magnificent view of the castle, the spotless, spacious bathroom, and the delightful veranda overlooking the castle made it even more special. The hostess was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our stay felt like stepping into a timeless embrace, where every detail - from the grandeur of the castle view to the warmth of small, thoughtful gestures - wove together a perfect harmony of past and present.

We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment offered great value for money, and we couldn't have asked for a better host. John was always available to assist with anything we needed and shared excellent tips for local restaurants and sightseeing. Highly recommended!

Pool not heated .. would be fine for warmer months of course. But did not spoil our stay. We loved it ! The food was incredible … wine spectacular. We had a lovely Wine tasting & staff were all fantastic! Wish we stayed longer & look forward to coming back soon.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Casa Da Ponte! The house is beautiful, full of charm, very clean, and perfectly maintained. The beds were also extremely comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home during the whole week. Their warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine kindness made our stay unforgettable. Even our teenagers loved the place, which says a lot! The breakfasts were delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the location is perfect for exploring the surrounding region. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!

A very cozy authentic and well equipped and nicely designed family home with charming outdoor space (pool, patio, terraze) and more than enough space for 4 people. Marta was so very sweet when letting us in explaining the house. Ceu (her aunt) was always virtually available when we had questions. Location was great for us who are keen in less-touristic places, village has some very good restaurants to enjoy local food and Talha wine (we even had a possibility to hear cante alentejo singing in Taberna de Enteirico restaurant). Plenty of safe parking places around the house. Definately the place to recommend when you are in this area of Portugal.
