The whole experience was much better thanks to the hospitality of the manager (José) and the owner (Joāo) They took care of things and kept asking questions to customise my experience at the place. so with a lovely accommodation with breathtaking 180 degree view and such cozy, beautiful city I exceeded my expectations about Penacova. You could be at Swiss alps, such high hills and astonishing valleys finishing at Montego River. I will come back again and staying at the same accomodation !Guest review byNevilleAustralia - 10.0
A sleepy little town that is all but closed up on Sundays.

The views from the hilltop where the town centre is situated...
The views from the hilltop where the town centre is situated are fabulous. There isn’t a lot to do in the town but there are some good facilities eg Cota restaurant and Cafe Turismo.
