Amazing place in a beautiful setting with super helpful staff who clearly take pride in this wonderful experience. Pools are lovely and relaxing with lots of different areas of bubbles / jets / saunas/ steam room etc. rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Food is amazing with lots of choices ( we are vegetarian) and the even the breakfast coffee tastes lovely! ( unusual!)

It was a perfect little spot to relax and take in the scenery! The young couple who own the place are incredibly kind and attentive. It was out first time starting the and my 9 year old was keen to use the outdoor jetted tub which is refilled daily with fresh water so as not to use chemicals. To his dismay, it had just been emptied the morning he wanted to use it, just before our departure. The owner ran to refill it just for him and stayed with his to watch his delight! We were checking out and he insisted we stay longer so my son could enjoy the water. The breakfast was lovely and I can't go on enough about the beautiful grounds and facilities. This couple went to alot of effort to build this incredible place among a vineyard with spectacular views while also ensuring all the modern conveniences we've come to expect. I can't rate it highly enough. Book this place; you won't regret it!

    Loriga is a gorgeous town, not unlike many in the area of the Serra da Estrela. What sets it apart is a great river beach (praia fluvial); its closeness to the Parque da Serra da Estrela, an easy 20-minute drive; and it's less busy than other more popular towns. Driving through Loriga's streets can be a daunting experience if you are not used to very narrow streets and steep slopes. If you plan on staying try to find lodging close to the main road.

The village has so much to offer—crystal-clear natural pools, perfect for a refreshing swim in the summer, and scenic hiking trails that showcase the beauty of the region year-round. Walking through Loriga's narrow streets, you can feel its rich history and unique character. The traditional stone houses and friendly locals make it feel like stepping back in time. Plus, the local food is incredible—don’t miss out on trying the regional cheeses and sausages! If you're looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, Loriga is a must-visit.
