We are experienced tourists, but we were to Portugal in a first time. It’s paradise on the edge of the earth! My wife and I have really enjoyed spending 9 days in the Vilalara Thalassa Resort. It’s a very picturesque place: all around green, many flowers and extraordinary plants. Everything looks like the living in a botanical garden, the morning birdsong is mesmerizing! The hotel service is impeccable. We were surrounded by care and attention and felt like the VIP clients. The staff did not just fulfill our wishes, they divined them. It’s very professional team (Stars 5++). Thank you so much for your work! By our opinion the Vilalara Thalassa Resort is an ideal place for accomplished people who want to take a break from the busy rhythm of life and restore their powers. We will definitely come back here. See you soon!

Resort is in a quiet area, with plenty of space for parking. Waking up to the sound of birds each morning was lovely. Restaurant had plenty of delicious food choices for breakfast & evening meal, and the pool area is beautiful pool with plenty of room and has easy access to the beach. Staff were excellent, very attentive and welcoming. Receiving the cake, pastries and champagne in our room on the day of our Wedding Anniversary was a lovely surprise and gesture. Thank you!

The resort is very secluded. You do need a car if you want to go anywhere. The last 2 miles of the road to get to it is scary, but it is worth it. Beach is great breakfast is good. Town nearby is awesome (10 min away). Amazing Italian restaurant Villa Medici is a must! If you are looking for a major city, albufiera is 40 min away and is very crowded. Beaches at and nearby this hotel are small coves. Definitely recommend taking a cave tour by boat.

    It´s a nice and quiet little town with some restaurants and a small beach. If the sea condition permits it, different boat tours to the caves are available directly from the beach withTaruga Benagil tours. There are different walking trails on the cliffs above the ocean with spectacular views.
