This place was an unexpected and a very pleasant discovery. Very friendly host, facilities are very clean, kitchen fully equipped and very well organised, small cosy back garden, rooms are spacios, bunk beds wide and cosy,, plenty of sockets to charge phones, laptops, etc. Check in was super easy, i felt like i was an expected and a very welcome guest 😀. 100% satisfaction!

we loved everything! the rooms were comfortable, the fact that you have a place for your wetsuits and a place to wash everything, it is perfect for surfers, right near the beach. also I asked for a soy milk in breakfast and that made sure I would have it every morning.

    I could easily live here.

    I could easily live here. The town is small and modern and not one of the historic venues that Porto or Lissabon offers but it has all the amenities that one can possibly look for. The relaxed surfing attitude and the pristine beaches make this a delight to visit. Our objective had just been to visit the beach as we reside in a land locked country and this place could not have been more perfect. The surf was a delight to watch and the air and beaches were clean. The people are friendly and the atmosphere was extremely relaxed.

    I went to Baleal with the intention of surfing, and I could surf multiple times a day with some great waves. A week was too short. Keep in mind, I was in Baleal in January. The average air temp was 15c and the sea temp was 16. It was quiet in the ocean and I could surf almost alone during the day. At the end of the day, after 4 PM the locals head into the water. Perfect week in January for a surf-get-away. I was told it is good and quiet until the end of April. It is too busy with surf camps /schools during summer. Food tip: El Chilitio's! is 8 min a walk from the hostel. Great Mexican food and affordable. Next to the hostel, there is a little supermarket. It is on the expensive side, but not too crazy.

    Very nice place to spend one-two days in the complete calm without the sign of civilisation) Few cafes, restaurants, we found only one shop with pesto for 7.5 eur😬 If you’re going there by car it’s perfect, otherwise you need to have a taxi, never saw a public transport there. In love with the dunes (wide line!), November waves and a bit melancholic mood.

    Fo people who like to surf and love the ocean and steep cliffs this area is just perfect. And the food is also awesome but most of the time you need to make a reservation in the restaurants, if you don't like to wait for a table.

    Baleal is a beautiful and healthy place to visit.

    Baleal is a beautiful and healthy place to visit. I felt much better after a few days because of the waves and the ocean wonderful salty smell 🌊 One can find several restaurants or snacks, often overlooking the ocean.

    Ca. 5min. walk to beach in "any" direction :) Very nice and helpful personnel. Spacious room. The street at the hotel is relatively calm regarding the traffic and "loud people" (even it is the main street, it does not feel like that). No problems with parking, and if you come with electric vehicle, it seems you can charge it at the hotel, too. Balcony is also nice to sit and chill (or do some necessary work, if you are just "half-off" :) ).

    Its more of a big house than a hotel, which makes it more personal and cozy. The location is perfect if you want to go surfing/to the beach, and also walking distance from so many good restaurants. The stuff was SO NICE, always down to help with whatever you need and offer good recommendations. We’ll be back!

    I can't recommend this place enough! The accommodation is in a stunning location – just a short walk from the surf beach, close to the bars, and not far from the town. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. If you're heading to Baleal, this is definitely the place to stay!

    Loved this apartment. Excellent location perfectly in between Baleal and Ferrel. Great value for money - and the perfect place for a group of 3 -4 friends. Extremely well stocked kitchen, and a lovely big dinning table for group meals.

    The hotel was beautiful and loved just a few meters from the beach. Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. there was a great choice of breakfast foods. Staff shared recommendations for nearly restaurants which were fabulous.
