Ramallah people said why do you want to go there it's a horrible war zone. How wrong they were ! . We felt safe and welcome everywhere we went. Groups of youths messing around on street corners at night, we walked straight through them no bad comments just hello and smiles. You don't get that in my home town. I was in Ramallah for two nights, quivalent to three days.
I was in Ramallah for two nights, quivalent to three days. I was travelling alone, so this amount was just right, but if i had travelled with friends i could have stayed more days. It's the cultural centre of the West Bank, with opportunities for theatres, concerts, bars, muesums, art and delicious food. Also if you're on a study trip or travelling for "less touristic" purposes it's a great city to talk to people, and many organizations have their offices here, including the PA. Have to add that i'm a woman in early 20s travelling alone, but never felt unsafe here. Palestinian people are very helpful and welcoming!!Guest review byHovdenak

I was informed breakfast was in the morning but I told them I was fasting so I would not eat morning breakfast. When I arrived back later that night the night receptionist (a man, I didn't get his name) told me he can arrange for the chef to prepare food for me (suhoor). Way above what you expect for bunk beds, and the single room just feels like a hotel room, it's awesome.
