Beautiful atmospheric small old town with great history. Tour of Zamosc stronghold highly recommended. Also enjoyed town park with great island and peaceful paths. Recommend Wedel chocolaterie in the market square, unique chocolate served. Dined at Zamojska Winiarnia, great choice of local, Polish and Jewish dishes. Beef tartare was a treat. Zamosc is a gem of a city, although there's not so much to...
Zamosc is a gem of a city, although there's not so much to see there. Basically it's the central square - with a not hugely interesting museum - a pleasant wander through the old town and the synagogue. The restored synagogue is interesting and has presentations about the Jewish history of the city. This city definitely should be visited for at least 1 full day. We have spent 2 days in it. 1 day was for the city zoo and walks around the city to see the city at night, because it's two big differences day/night + great restaurants. The second day was dedicated to the city in full, including visiting the fortress and all other sightseeing beautiful historical highlights. Zamosc is a very pretty, historic city with a charming old town. It is also called the Padua of the North and the Pearl of the Renaissance, Walking around the narrow cobbled streets, you right away realize why. Zamosc has a nice main square (the Rynek Wielki), which is surrounded by beautiful renaissance houses and its well-known town hall. Besides that, you are able to find a nice Cathedral, some churches and a Synagogue. We were there in winter and even though it was cold, we had a great time there. Though, I do believe that in the summer, this place would be even more beautiful and fun- I can see myself sipping on a beer on the old market square. To finilize, I think you don't need more than 1, maybe 2 days to see it all.Guest review byJurretjePoland

The atmosphere, interior design, and little outside area are all done by a person with a taste! Hotel's common area is not big but cozy: there are a few tables for breakfast, and in the kitchen you will find an always smiling hostess, a reception area and an area to rest with extremely comfortable sofas and bookshelves. The room is also very convenient with all the necessary equipment and enough space.
