winter garden - just incredible view and great place to relax. Good breakfast. Connector between room and “restaurant” was very cozy and nice. Staff were nice and smiling. location was perfect, close to Kadr pub and 3 minutes from Kopernik. BTW room with river view is must have :)

    Torun is really worth the visit.

    Torun is really worth the visit. The city center which is in UNESCO is beautiful with many lovely houses, churches, castle and river, To walk through the old city takes only 2 hours (without visiting any museum or sitting in any restaurant, just walking around), so one day trip is OK, We stayed there 1 night, visited the city center both in the evening and in the morning, each time of the day was lovely.

    Torun is a picturesque, very well preserved medieval town.

    Torun is a picturesque, very well preserved medieval town. It is easy to get everywhere on foot. We enjoyed just wandering the old streets and absorbing the quaint atmosphere. There are also many restaurants offering delicious food. The gingerbread museum was a unique attraction.

    I grew up in Torun.

    I grew up in Torun. Went to UK 16 ya and Torun has changed massively. I have 2 mix race kids. Wanted them to see where their mum is coming from but I think they are not in that age to get excited to see beatiful old buildings and learning the history. But Torun always will have special place in my heart and cant wait to come back for another holiday.

    Torun is AMAZING! Amazing bars, restaurants and the town is a beautifully renovated city, all authentic Medieval city with lots of attractions and history. People are friendly and the streets are clean.

    Toruń is a wonderful medieval city in northern Poland. I think I went there during a school trip when I was a child but couldn’t remember anything and I wanted to refresh my memory so I took my children there for a 2 day trip. There is plenty I could say about Toruń def has the nicest old town out of all Polish cities for me. The old town is lovely in the evening and there is plenty to do but I think that 2 full days is a perfect time for your stay. One thing that I didn’t think about was that most attractions are shut on Monday which was a bit annoying. Do your research and plan your trip your own way. I enjoyed Toruń a lot despite very cold weather.

    For early February, a two-night stay is just right.

    For early February, a two-night stay is just right. Had it been warmer then 2 extra days would have been most welcome. We didn't do much sight-seeing, but we ate at "Chleb i wino" (funny that we didn't get a wine card), where we ate for a very reasonable price. I recommend the cocktails (especially the ones marked with WOW). Getting around in Torun is easily done by foot.

    I arrived to the hotel after a 208 km e-bike ride. I was offered a storage for my e-bike. The receptionist gave me a ground floor room per my request (thank you!) The hotel was located in a green area and it was very quiet. The room was clean, cosy and comfortable. The breakfast was served by extremely friendly personnel and it was tasty. The hotel is pretty near to the Olender Ethnographic Park in Wielka Nieszawka (a must see!) and to the ruins of a Teutonic Castle. If I'm in Toruń again, I will surely choose the hotel again!

    Breakfast is good. Restaurant is comfortable. Hotel is near to the Main train station, just 3 mins walk. Walking to the Torun old town takes around 30 mins but if you take a short cut (cross a country park) directly to the river bank, you can catch a good view of the old town with mirror image reflected on the river! And this short cut will take shorter walking time. The cherry blossom (sakura) planted in the vehicle main entrance is very beautiful.
