Located right at the edge of the old town, the hotel was in a quiet location, with plenty of eateries, markets and Torun sights within a 2-10 minute walk. My room (209) was very spacious and well-appointed, with plenty of surfaces and seating area. Logical and adequate luggage rack. A power outlet on both sides of the bed. Plenty of lights and a huge window. Light natural and artificial. The door opened with a fob and there was no need to slip the key into a holder to turn on the lights and air-conditioning - they all worked independently of the key. Large shower. Plenty of counter space in the bathroom for your own toiletries Breakfast was a reasonable price and the buffet had a very wide selection, so you could sample various local/international items. I didn't try the made-to-order eggs, toasties or shakshuka as the buffet was plenty for me. The breakfast area was an atrium, so it was really lovely in the summer mornings. Knowledgeable, helpful, smiling staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and it exceeded my expectations.

This is a great location in old town Torun. The staff is friendly and can provide excellent service in English. The breakfast is amazing, with huge variety and fresh cooked eggs and crepes. Great location. Three minutes walk to the city center. Easy access by car and spacious parking on the hotel grounds. Professional and polite service. Clean, comfortable, modern room with everything you need (there is an electric kettle and a refrigerator). Good breakfast. It seemed to me that last year the choice was more varied. In any case, good value for money. We really like this hotel and will definitely choose it next time.

    Torun is really worth the visit.

    Torun is really worth the visit. The city center which is in UNESCO is beautiful with many lovely houses, churches, castle and river, To walk through the old city takes only 2 hours (without visiting any museum or sitting in any restaurant, just walking around), so one day trip is OK, We stayed there 1 night, visited the city center both in the evening and in the morning, each time of the day was lovely.

    Torun is a picturesque, very well preserved medieval town.

    Torun is a picturesque, very well preserved medieval town. It is easy to get everywhere on foot. We enjoyed just wandering the old streets and absorbing the quaint atmosphere. There are also many restaurants offering delicious food. The gingerbread museum was a unique attraction.

    I grew up in Torun.

    I grew up in Torun. Went to UK 16 ya and Torun has changed massively. I have 2 mix race kids. Wanted them to see where their mum is coming from but I think they are not in that age to get excited to see beatiful old buildings and learning the history. But Torun always will have special place in my heart and cant wait to come back for another holiday.

    Torun is AMAZING! Amazing bars, restaurants and the town is a beautifully renovated city, all authentic Medieval city with lots of attractions and history. People are friendly and the streets are clean.

    Toruń is a wonderful medieval city in northern Poland. I think I went there during a school trip when I was a child but couldn’t remember anything and I wanted to refresh my memory so I took my children there for a 2 day trip. There is plenty I could say about Toruń def has the nicest old town out of all Polish cities for me. The old town is lovely in the evening and there is plenty to do but I think that 2 full days is a perfect time for your stay. One thing that I didn’t think about was that most attractions are shut on Monday which was a bit annoying. Do your research and plan your trip your own way. I enjoyed Toruń a lot despite very cold weather.

    For early February, a two-night stay is just right.

    For early February, a two-night stay is just right. Had it been warmer then 2 extra days would have been most welcome. We didn't do much sight-seeing, but we ate at "Chleb i wino" (funny that we didn't get a wine card), where we ate for a very reasonable price. I recommend the cocktails (especially the ones marked with WOW). Getting around in Torun is easily done by foot.

    It is a quiet place near a park, in the sports arena building. Kaufland is 200m away if you want to buy meals other than breakfast. It is not a crowded hotel. I met 2-3 different people during breakfast time every day. And the breakfast is tasty. The price for a stay was good. Free parking is in front of the hotel so I can see my car from a window.

    Lovely interesting building and kind staff. Breakfast was superb - had a selection of fresh fruit, our first in two weeks of travelling by bicycle in Poland. Great location for exploring the Old Town.
