    It's a wonderful hotel that you don't need to leave for your stay. It has everything. The staff are world-class and the food is first class. They surprised us when they found out it was our anniversary with a complimentary bottle of wine.

    There are so many better places in S/E Asia to go for a nice time at the beach. Mactan is not one of them. I went for the IronMan and would never go for vacation there. Very poor availability of night life, sea and beach are mediocre.

    We went to Mactan for a wedding and caught a 'Grab' taxi...

    We went to Mactan for a wedding and caught a 'Grab' taxi from the airport to the accommodation for about A$15. We had a room with a view to the sea, but could also see the housing of the locals, which contrasted to the fancy hotels - so sad to see the living conditions of locals. The area where we stayed was rather quiet and was safe for walking without too much traffic.

    Great beaches on Mactan Island.

    Great beaches on Mactan Island. Also some good nearby attractions like Lapu-Lapu statue, Mactown Newtown, 10,000 Roses Cafe. You will also find more sites in Cebu city like Fort San Pedro, Magellan's Cross, Sto. Nino Church, Temple of Leah, Sirao Flower Garden, Little Kyoto, and Tops Overlook.

    Very reasonable prices for taxis and other transport to get around. Lovely cool shopping malls. Food is very, very good. The staff everywhere are lovely - exceptionally friendly without being intrusive.

    I have stayed at this hotel many times and have always been made welcome by the staff. It’s almost just like going to see friends. I am amazed just how many of the staff remember me. Of course being situated right next to the airport is a huge plus. I am already looking forward to seeing my friends again in the future

    This hotel exceeded my expectations. - the concierge, guard and reception was very attentive - also they helped out with getting my ride to the airport - the room was amazing, very clean and added bonus is that they do room service / in-room dining. - toiletries comes in a pack - location was amazing - close to the airport, on the main road, lots of taxis that pass by, close to Gaisano Mactan Island mall & also near restaurants / bars. Definitely would come back and highly recommended.

    This property offered a surprising oasis amidst the bustling streets near Cebu Airport on Mactan Island. Unlike its surroundings, the place exuded peaceful tranquillity. We had an above-average stay in a private cottage, complete with a comfy bed and a secure room. The pool was perfect for relaxation, and the Wi-Fi connection was a welcome bonus! Also, with less than 48 hours' notice, the hotel was very accommodating and allowed us to stay an extra night as our plans changed.

    I've stayed at all luxury resorts in Cebu/Mactan and the Reef is by far the best when it comes to the breakfast. Great variation from day to day. One day I asked if the enchiladas contained pork, which they did and which I don't eat, so the helpful staff asked the chef to make a vegetarian enchilada for me. Overall 5/5. First time I had an early check-in in Cebu in 10 years (we arrived at 11 and the room was ready). All other places you have to wait even if the room is ready.

    The rooms 219-234 are a nightmare. There is a 6 lane avenie right under your window and the noise is unacceptable. In Manila you will hear at least 1-2 car horn PER MINUTE even through the night. I barely slept. Apart of that the staff and location (if you need close by the airport) is great. The clubhouse sandwich was very tasty, quite big and very affordable.

    The cleanliness of the hotel and room is superb. The amenities is exceptional and you can really enjoy your stay in mactan. We were also able to have a late check out til 6pm for only 1k pesos.
