Owaka is a small village, it has an excellent Inn especially for accommodation. The village has a small but well stocked supermarket, it has two restaurants and two cafes. It is quiet and peaceful. It is well located for visits to sites along the coast. Lovely wee town!
Lovely wee town! Make sure if you see the country store or little boutique stores open, you go and have a look!! My biggest regret is leaving that to our last day as there was so much to see! Many environmental places nearby to visit. Exceptional museum/library that is worthwhile visiting. A few shops but interesting items. Local pub & cafes offer range of food. All highly recommended.
