A wonderful spot and very nice host. It was very clean and well appointed, with a wonderful shower with amazing pressure and temperature. Bed was comfortable and we loved the soft sheets, just like at home. The Wifi was perfect and kitchen was well supplied. If you’re looking for a quiet place and wonderful country view, this is the place to be. We really enjoyed it and stayed two nights, and highly recommend it.

The room was very cozy and well equipped. There was a big walk-in closet where we could put our luggages at ease. The room, especially the bath room, was very clean. The view to the surrounding was great. We woke up in the morning and took good numbers of photos of the scenaries around, and also the house.

Friendly place good range of cafes etc liked the Kiwiana and hanging baskets . Town made an effort . Close to Waitomo Caves and enroute to Hamilton . Ate at Jasmihes Thai picked up picnic lunch at Fat Kiwi . Got supplies from Woolworths Countdown

Although this is a small country town it had all the conveniences we needed such as a Countdown, restaurants, cafes, great little unique shops, the kiwi house, green spaces, good public toilets, a big laundromat, take aways etc. Also very close to the Waitomo Caves, which is very handy.

We loved everything about our stay.

We loved everything about our stay. We arrived late at night and the room was waiting for us with the cosy warm light on so we knew exactly where to go in the dark. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and big and the breakfast was delicious. I can not think of anything should have been better, we were 100% satisfied and would love to stay longer or come back.

Loved the location, facilities, breakfast and welcoming host. It was perfect for our overnight stay and we really should have stayed a second night. The cabin is cute, well appointed and has a little deck with outdoor table & chairs. It was slightly ‘tight’ for room with our big traveling cases but we made it work.

The park manager was super friendly and helpful! He went out of his way to make us feel welcome! He's one of the nicest park managers ever! Kudos to your hard work! The bed was super comfy, wifi was excellent, the heated outdoor pool and spa-pool was the main draw-card! The playground was amazing for my child! Excellent location in terms of a short drive to the Waitomo Caves! We discovered The Kiwi House is only a short two minute drive away! Close to Countdown, Maccas, and the petrol station - has everything you need for a nice holiday!

Really ideal location if you're heading to/from Waitomo Glowworm Caves. The farm and the short walk up the hill is a great addition to the stay. The drive up the property is a wild ride. Up a steep hill and passing by a dark forest before being greeted by 2 🪿. Jamie is extremely accomodating and helpful, just speak up and she'll assist you. A decent variety of breakfast is offered so you don't really have to prepare too much.
