What really made our experience stand out was the exceptional service, particularly from Mr. Ajay Dhaiya. Ajay was not only supportive and helpful throughout our stay but also exhibited a level of professionalism and dedication that was truly commendable. His hard work and attention to detail did not go unnoticed, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was perfect. From the moment we arrived at VR Rotorua Lake Resort, we knew our stay would be something special. The resort's stunning location, right by the tranquil lake, set the scene for a truly relaxing getaway. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The accommodation itself was wonderful, with clean, well-appointed rooms offering stunning views. In conclusion, our stay at VR Rotorua Lake Resort was not just memorable because of the beautiful setting and excellent facilities, but also because of the incredible staff, led by examples like Ajay. This place is beautiful, a hidden gem away from busy town noise. This unit was also lovely, clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. Our host was so friendly and pleasant to talk to, and everything else was well presented. Definitely would pick this accommodation in the future.

A wonderful "Hello" on arrival by the friendly staff, we immediately felt welcome. At the reception you can borrow a book or a board game or a movie for free if one is interested to do so (which we were). Accommodation was a two-bedroom apartment which turned out be more like a little row-house with two floors (ground floor: kitchen to the right, followed by an open-plan dining area with a large table and six chairs and a living area with a sofa and large TV that leads right up to the other end of the house where some sliding doors open to a little terrace, 1st floor: master bedroom to the left, then bathroom with shower, washing machine and dryer in the middle, second bedroom with two singles to the right). Free parking in front of the house. Fully equipped kitchen, spotless clean - as was the whole house. Heating and cooling possible - much appreciated as it was rather chilly when we staid there. Lovely surroundings close to the lake.

The hosts were very kind. Even when we tried to compensate for an ornament broken by one of us, they refused to take any money. The rooms were quite clean and spacious.

Absolutely beautiful property! Extremely elegant, beautifully furnished, wonderful staff and fabulous food! Beautiful sculptures in the grounds … with lovely birds , lots of bunny rabbits and alpacas too - glorious! Cannot fault it in anyway - just superb!

The room was big, the pool being next door to the room was great and the continental breakfast was delicious. Everything was within walking distance from the hotel. Also the products available such as body wash, shampoo and conditioner was great too.
