Penhill Hideaway is a lovely property with a really comfy bed, great facilities and couple of extra treats up its sleeves! All the little touches really made our stay. Incredible views from the seating on the private deck. Added bonus of being able to use the hot tub. A well equipped kitchen allowed us to be able to cook dinner and hideaway from the chilly weather!

A lovely self contained downstairs apartment which provided us with a welcome stop-over on our tour of the North Island, and while the ‘incredible views’ were mostly hidden by a tree the property certainly lived up to its ‘cosy’ description which is what we wanted from our visit. Thanks.

The property was excellent. In a quiet location, nice views to watch sunset. Everything you could possibly need was thought about carefully, clean and wonderfully presented. And a great price. Shame we were only there for one night. Didn't get a chance to use the hot tub.

Richard and Viv are amazing hosts. Really helpful and informative. Made us feel very much at home. The guest area itself was very modern, clean and tidy with everything you could hope for and a bit more ie. A nice cold beer in the fridge on arrival. Very comfortable place to stay!
