One of the best accommodations we've had. A little old-fashioned, but decorated with lots of love and heart. Very clean, tidy and lots of space. The owner is also very friendly and up for a little talk. Highly recommended.

James was one of the best hosts I have had on my trip so far. I booked last second as the weather took a turn for the worst and he was able to accommodate me. We had a lovely chat about the local area and after getting me all situated and comfy for my stay even recommended a few local spots to visit while I was in town. Great location with a view to Mt. Taranaki (if you are lucky that it pops out of the clouds :)). Nice breakfast, the owenr is super friendly and has such a cute dog Rusty. Spa bath was a welcome addition to the room.

We stayed at this motel just for a night travelling through. I wish we could have stayed for longer! the room was so clean and comfortable and spacious. And while it is on a fairly busy road there was no noise once you were in the room. The only noise was the train that ran along the back of the property but this was a bonus for us and was loved by our kids. definitely recommend :-)

Great location beside woolworths. A great pick if you want to base here for East Egmont. Reception was very friendly and helpful with food recommendations too. Sound proofing was done very well, and you know that because as soon as the door was opened you could hear the rowdiness outside.
