Beautiful property and beautifully kept. The owner, Mike, is awesome to deal with - very friendly and hosted 5 of us with only an hours notice. Bonus was the clawfoot tubs in the bathrooms! Decadence.

Mary (who lives in and operates the B&B) was incredibly nice and helpful, going above and beyond. She was happy to indulge my talkative nature, had advice on hiking on Mt Taranaki, and made cookies/biscuits and hot chocolate. The room was cosy and felt like home, there was a fireplace with comfy chairs, and the garden was well-kept and verdant. Excellent location too. Quiet suburban neighborhood, just 15-20 minutes' drive from New Plymouth, on easy roads. The southeastern tracks in Egmont National Park (Dawson Falls etc.) are 40 minutes away.

Such a special and beautiful place. I don't think you will get any better location in the whole of Taranaki (unless you like staying in the middle of the city). The view of Mount Taranaki and the surrounding hills were breathtaking. The house is completely new and has all the smooth, nice commodities of a modern luxury house. Would love to come back there again one day!

Just a lovely place, such a fantastic location & had complimentary bikes to go along. When our bikes didn’t work they gave us complimentary e-bikes! I really felt listened to & that is a first! Also they offer great deals with neighbouring restaurants (which are fantastic!!!)

We were greeted by lovely, helpful, friendly people who went out of their way to suggest great places to eat and visit. The room was really comfortable and clean, nicely furnished and decorated. Sadly, we could only stay one night and wish it could have been more

This place is the ultimate place to stay in the naki. Fantastic friendly staff throughout. Our King room was excellent, great size, fantastic bed , very clean and facilities second to none. Buffet dinner and breakfasts are on offer and as we indulged in the breakfast it was delicious and definitely worth it. Can't comment on buffet dinner as we chose to choose from the bar menu which was Thoroughly enjoyed our stay if coming this way again, we will definitely stay again.👍🏿

Fresh smelling non-smoking bed-room and bathroom - all spotlessly clean. These are the most important items for me. Lovely view over the city, and quiet at night with no city noise.
