    Loved the small rural townships of Gore, Mataura and...

    Loved the small rural townships of Gore, Mataura and Balclutha. Very historical buildings and lots of lovely home gardens. But the biggest gems are the spectacular green hills and pastures of the surrounding countryside. We enjoyed seeing the sheep and lambs and cows. A beautiful part of NZ. Brydone is also very central for day trips to other parts of Southland and Otago. The Aeroplane Museum in Gore was well worth a visit.
