Bishnu is the owner of the chital lodge which is a family business initially created by his grand father. With the Chital Lodge you dive into a more adventurous and unique experience of the Chitwan Park exploration. Far from the touristic area of Sauhara, Bishnu offers walk safaris and other activities. During our walk safari, we saw 3 rhinos, many birds and deers. In general, we had great moments with him and his lovely family. The food cooked by his wife is delicious and varied. If you're looking for a different and more adventurous way to explore Chitwan, while being ok with losing a bit of comfort then I would highly suggest this place! The kindness of the owner, the cook and all the personal. The place itself is magic. The safaris in Chitwan National Park, guided by the owner. The opportunity to see a wild rhino so near walking in the street at Sauraha (2 kms away from the hotel). Amazing!!!

The place is very nice. Clean rooms, good service, and beautiful garden with plenty of birds and plants. Just a few minutes walk from the main riverside. And the hotel stuff was very very helpful with everything - organizing trips, ordering bus, money exchange etc. They even picked up us at bus terminal even though we didnt let them know in advance. They organized for us a wonderful 3-day jungle walk tour. Big thanks to our guides — and after the tour also friends — Basu and Kumar, they are very proffesional! On the tour we saw a lot of animals, we stayed at local traditional village, and also in a nice river view hotel. They explained us everything about nature around and they didn’t make up any nonsenses. Important to mention that the tour was quite challenging due to the hot and wet weather, but we enjoyed really much!

I really liked all the things in the hotel. First of all, staff were so sweet and behaved good towards us. The room was clean, and the facilities were good, as well as service was fast. The food was also very delicious. If you are visiting chitwan, then I recommend you to go there ❤️.
