Great location at the harbor and 2 mins walk to office to buy boat tickets to Hornoya Island (which is an exceptional birding experience). Staff very helpful and the food at dinner food was excellent. Rooms simple but all you need.

I loved my stay at Meieriet! Dawn and Jonny really made me feel at home. Being vegan, they went out of their way to offer me a good breakfast every morning and nice dinners at their restaurant. I was able to really enjoy life in Vardø and to get to know some of the locals. My room was spacious and clean and the bed comfortable.

Fantastic place in the center with a view of the port. Kitchen connected to the living room. Fireplace. Warm, which is important in winter, when we returned from hiking around the island. A few years ago we were here for a few hours in August. We wanted to come back here to see Vardo during the polar night. It is an island with an interesting history and many interesting places to see.
