Molde is at the western coast of Norway.
Molde is at the western coast of Norway. There is plenty of rainy weather, but when the sun shines, there is hardly a better place to visit. The stunning beauty of the mountains across the fiord is absolutely magnificent. There are nice hotels, but the prices are quite high to be a city of the size of less than 30K citizens. Maybe the cost-level reflects the history of tourism when the royal families from different nations of Europe frequented this part of Norway. You will find friendly staff at all places, but you could also pop into those who might take you as a visitor for granted. A beautiful city in Norway. We drove around all the small towns and did the 'James Bond' spectacular Atlantic Road drive. It was worth driving from Bergen and taking magnificent pictures along the way.Guest review bylife and adventuresAustralia
