There’s not much more to add — I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone coming with friends or family. It’s in a nice neighborhood, not too far from the city center, and there are even a few bikes available if you’d like to use them. Like staying in a shared office environment. 24hr friendly staff. Rainshowers were great as was the "pod". Had an app to control lighting and alarm (lights coming on). Surprisingly quiet in the pod even though couple were staying directly above. All pods were one up one down. Good WiFi. With a local market right outside and easy access to Amsterdam.

    We were booked into a double room but the room was in bad...

    We were booked into a double room but the room was in bad condition. Broken flush button on toilet, cracked window seal, mouldy smell. We approached the manager to complain but she wasn't very cooperative. She finally swapped us to 2 single rooms and all went well. Mattress on one side of bed was a bit too soft for my back so I ended up with a stiff back. All in all good value for money hotel in the single rooms.

    The room was good, but there were no shampoos, creams, or any bathing kits provided. Also, there was no pantry where guests could make coffee or prepare instant food. There was no reception desk either, so you couldn’t ask for help on-site. You have to go to a different location about 300 meters away to collect the keys, which was quite inconvenient. The place is also a bit on the outskirts of Amsterdam. Although there is one direct train, you still have to walk around 20 minutes from Halfweg-Zwanenburg station, which was quite irritating.
