- private and right next to the sand dunes and beach - nicely decorated, comfy bed, great! Hot shower - lovely welcome with a small bottle of wine as a welcome present - really friendly and cuddly dogs around the facilities - the arrival instructions were very clear and we had no issues in getting there (midsized sedan car)

The hotel is recently renovated and the rooms and common areas are nicely finished. Great balcony. We had a problem with the local police and the staff gave us great advice about how to handle the problem if it occurred again.

The pension is a small oase of wood and green with nice common areas; hang-out, kitschen and beautiful roof terras. Altogether it breezes the old relaxed traveller vibe. The location was amazing - next to a lovely square and close to all main areas. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and the room was cleaned up every day. I also liked the unique character of the hotel - it felt more like an old traditionl villa, and the artwork downstairs was beautiful.

The host was present when we checked in and was so incredibly helpful for where to grab dinner, walk around and have an authentic experience. The men at the desk that night and the next morning were above and beyond helpful and polite. We booked it randomly and were delighted with everything from the service to the decor.

Exceptional 'find'. At this price point, exceptional, for sure. Very attractive aesthetic...clean lines, clean surfaces throughout, artistic touches...clearly well thought out. Crisp comfortable linens. Comfortable semi-open air 'lobby' and gathering area. Convenient, clean cafe for breakfast or lunch, with very well executed offerings. Genial owners live onsite, other staff equally friendly. Location is a block from the malecon, but just enough west to be away from the noise. Street parking was easily found on either side out front, and felt safe/secure. Place for my folding bike off the main gathering area beneath the stairs to the upper level was a welcome bonus.
