I had the pleasure of staying at Sands Grand Hotel with my wife, and I must say, it was an experience beyond expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a level of hospitality that made us feel instantly welcomed. The hotel's location is perfect. The decor is tastefully done. Every detail, from the unique lobby is thoughtfully designed to provide an inviting atmosphere. Our room was a sanctuary of comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with soft linens that made it hard to get up in the morning. The room was unique and impeccably clean. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a culinary delight. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, all prepared with the freshest ingredients. Each meal was a feast for the senses, and the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to accommodate any request. The hotel also offers a range of activities and excursions, ensuring there's never a dull moment. What truly sets Sands Grand Hotel apart is their exceptional service. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism truly made our stay memorable. Sands Grand Hotel is more than just a place to stay. It was an experience. Staff is the best ever! Amazing people, with whom we shared 11 fantastic days! We became friends with Isha (Ikko), Liv, grandma, Siro, Ali, Nade and pretty much everyone else - cooks, cleaning staff etc. (apologies for mistyping or forgetting to mention your names :)). They helped us so much and made our stay a dream come true! During our stay thanks to the excursions Perla organized for us we saw and swam multiple times with whale sharks, mantas, turtles, pods of dolphins, sting rays and also swam with nurse sharks and went to a beautiful shipwreck for snorkelling. On top of that they sent us amazing go pro footage from the excursions for free! We saw local traditions and sampled exotic food during a local festival and it all felt like being part of one big family. We went for a day to a fancy resort nearby but honestly, we would recommend Perla over any modern resort as in Perla Dhangethi you have everything you need on an exotic local island for the fraction of the price one would have to pay at a resort and as a bonus you meet so many cool people from around the world! We will definitely come back soon!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Horizon in Dhigurah! The guesthouse is cozy, clean and just a short walk from the beautiful beach. Our room was spotless, cleaned thoroughly every day and always perfectly tidy. The overall atmosphere was very relaxing. But what really made our stay special was the incredible hospitality of the staff. A heartfelt thank you to Mippo and Ahu, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. They were always available, kind and full of helpful advice, from organizing excursions to making sure we were comfortable at all times. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine Maldivian island experience!

The host and his family were amazing, handing out packed breakfast at 6am before diving. We had a health emergency, and the host was very supportive, he called the ambulance, visited our friend in hospital and even bought the prescription. Rooms were clean and modern, the cottage is quiet and nice.

    Superb new facility and well connected atoll with great diving spots close by, the diving crew is well experienced and friendly, and they conduct PADI certification courses as well. All inclusive includes free kayaking for one hour every day (depending on sea conditions), free SUP for one hour every day (depending on sea conditions) and free rental of snorkeling gear for the entire duration of stay. There were several other water sport options like jet sky, dive tours, night snorkeling as well. The active coral reef need a bit of a boat ride to reach but they are filled with fishes. The whale shark viewing was amazing!!

    The snorkelling is breath-taking and the island is beautiful. Lovely rooms and great choice of food. Staff were super friendly and helpful and all times. Excursions could be more inviting - perhaps at least one complimentary boat activity of some sort during the stay and PLEASE stop the fish-feeding.

    Absolutely fantastic location, wonderful beach surrounded by...

    Absolutely fantastic location, wonderful beach surrounded by palm trees. Each of the restaurants, whether buffet or A La Carte, serve excellent food. I enjoyed walking on bare feet for the entire duration of my stay, the sandy walkways make it easy. I will definitely return.
