Staying on this local island was an incredible experience that we will cherish forever. Unlike the more touristy islands, Kihadhoo had a more authentic and serene vibe, and the locals were genuinely kind and welcoming. Our host was exceptional in every way. Not only was he the director of the local school, but he also managed the accommodation as a side project with utmost care and dedication. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. For meals, our host arranged dining at a newly opened local café. While the café still has room for improvement in terms of price-to-quality ratio, I’m confident it will grow into a fantastic spot over time. What truly sets this island apart is its breathtaking coral reef and vibrant marine life. Our host also organized unforgettable snorkeling and diving trips with a dive center on a neighboring island. These excursions were simply magical (especially in Hanifaru bay)! However, having a dive center directly on the island (which is planned soon) will make exploring the underwater world even more convenient. This island offers an authentic, peaceful getaway with stunning natural beauty and warm hospitality. We would love to return someday and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique Maldivian experience.

A great hotel for the relatively low price. It is located on a beautiful beach with a coral reef for snorkelling. You can see lots of colourful fish, turtles, rays and sharks there. The hotel's own tours are also great, for example snorkelling with the manta rays. You can also get to know the island life of the locals. The hotel staff are very friendly and help with every question. If you can manage without alcohol on holiday, then this is a great choice. You don't notice the airport.

Having traveled extensively across the Maldives, I can confidently say that Bageecha Stay is the best guesthouse I have ever experienced. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a place to stay—it felt like home, thanks to the incredible hospitality and warm atmosphere created by the host, Ismael, and his exceptional team. Ismael went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was perfect. His attention to detail, deep knowledge of the island, and genuine care for his guests made my stay unforgettable. Whether organizing activities or sharing insights about local life, his passion for hospitality truly shone through. Every meal was a masterpiece, combining fresh local ingredients with remarkable skill and creativity. From mouthwatering Maldivian delicacies to innovative international dishes, each bite was a treat. I can honestly say it was some of the best food I’ve had in the Maldives, and I looked forward to every meal during my stay. The guesthouse itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect balance of modern amenities and local charm. Lovely beachfront hotel, very welcoming and well maintained. The manager was incredibly helpful and truly cared about the guests, which made us feel at home. I enjoyed the full board option: the food was tasty, with a good variety for a small hotel. The staff, both in the restaurant and overall, were warm, friendly, and always happy to chat.

I like everything! The island and beach was amazing with a nice coral reef where we saw mantas, a turtle and many nice fishes. The room was super clean, big and comfortable with a nice open bathroom. Facilities like pool and main bar were very nice. The karaoke night was funny and dive center had two nice excursions that we did...one for snorkeling with turtles and one for snorkeling at reethi Island where we saw sharks and turtles too. Possibly I could like more options for group activities for snorkeling. The beach was very clean ad well as all the island. Breakfast and dinner were excellent with many types of food every day. Staff was very efficient and nice. I loved the surprise for my birthday...it was really unexpected! We really relaxed and we will miss reethi beach resort!!!

We booked one suite and one room, and honestly both were amazing. I've stayed in a lot of places, but this was one of the best hotels. The rooms were even better than the photos! What really made the stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. Everyone was very kind and the hospitality stood out a lot. Special thanks to the manager, Adms, who was absolutely wonderful. The breakfast (included) was delicious, and overall the entire stay was so comfortable and relaxing, no one wanted to leave. Any requests or small issues we had were quickly handled by the staff, and they responded quickly to texts as well. I highly, highly recommend this hotel, it's worth coming back again.
