Beautiful interior of the room and an attached terrace that offered a lovely view of the sea. The hotel has the best location, restaurants and overall services in Diffushi. Most importantly, the staff was extremely friendly and courteous.

Clean, really comfy beds, free refill water and provided beach towels as well as bath towels. Allowed us to borrow snorkelling equipment. Private beach and only 1 minute walk from bikini beach. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Athiri residence is the ideal location in my opinion if you’re staying in dhiffushi. It gives you the best experience while keeping a minimum cost that anyone can afford. Moreover, the breakfast, room service, staff and cleanliness are all great. Finally, it is on the ideal location making each sunset and sunrise so pretty to watch.

Pros: Best value-for-money stay during my entire Maldives trip—paid the same price as other accommodations but with significantly better facilities and service. Larger, well-managed hotel with warm, helpful staff, and great amenities: spacious, clean rooms with balconies, and a pool for relaxing. Located on the best island I visited, with numerous beautiful natural beaches (unlike other islands with only a few artificial beaches) and plenty of coral reefs for snorkeling or diving. Also many dinning and shopping options unlike other smaller islands around. Free snorkeling equipment available and dedicated sunbeds at the beach despite being a block away. Useful tip: download the Odiapp to book ferries easily, without commission fees ($25USD per way to/fro Male vs $35USD without the app), and you can convenienly pay by card.

I had an amazing stay. Shumaila and their friends were so warm, friendly and helpful, they were so good!!! Because of Ramadan, there was no dinner service till 7pm, but they prepared food for me, also shared their food, its so meaningful for me <3 Beautiful view in front of the hotel, very good location. I strongly recommend Portia Hotel! :)

Liked every single minute spending here! The sister hotel where we did stay is beautiful and cosy (Alsha Inn). Everything is new. Very comfortable beds. New modern bathroom. The host Solah and meanager his son made us very Welcome. Took care of us, helping , and advising with everything which we asked. We recieved beach towels and water every day. On the last night we were invited for a traditional Maldivian dinner made by Solah' s wife which we found very kind, and the food was absolutely amazing 10 out of 10 👌. We felt like we were visiting our family. Will be coming back Definitely next year!!

Everything was perfect and exceptional, stuff are so friendly and helpful, food was super awsome and rooms were very clean and everything tidy and in the room.....the whole experience is super fantastic.....I had a problem with booking reservation when I extended an extra night, in order that I will go to another room and I will stay one hour without a room they upgraded my room to suit villa and offer me late checkout for free.

Especially staff here were so amazing. They were very helpful and patient, they arranged the schedule very flexibly and they made our trip much better, very appreciated. We could stay like a home, very comfortable. Wish we could stay longer here, everything was fantastic : )

    We LOVED Dhiffushi!

    We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

    Our stay at Meeru Island Resort was truly a wonderful experience, filled with unforgettable moments and warm hospitality. The beauty of the island, combined with the comfort and care provided, made our trip incredibly special.     The hotel made our holiday a fantastic experience. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The manager is an absolute gem and works incredibly hard to make sure the guests are happy. The food was fantastic and always served hot and to a great standard. Great selection of food for breakfast. Very clean hotel and pool area. Thank you very much for our stay and we would highly recommend.

    Dhiffushi is a beautiful island with a local population of...

    Dhiffushi is a beautiful island with a local population of about 1,000. It felt like the true Maldivian spirit, and the locals were friendly. The island is completely walkable, as it isn't too big. There were several hotels offering excursions at cheaper prices than resorts. We would recommend snorking with turtles and sharks, and a dolphin tour.

    Small island that's not too crowed.

    Small island that's not too crowed. Stunning beached with amazing ocean views. A lot of activities that can be done from the island including parasailing, snorkeling, jet ski, diving and swimming with sharks.
