A beautiful accommodation in Guidhoo, really lovely staff and spacious. It’s not big but felt quite private, didn’t see anyone around. Really enjoyed my stay. Staff was friendly and showed the area around. Highly recommended.

1. The owner of the hotel Hamid is a very decent and hospitable person. Attentive to his guests. We provide all the amenities for a comfortable stay in their family hotel. Felt at home, safe. 2. I had very high expectations for my first trip to the Maldives, so I carefully researched a hotel that would offer everything we typically see in social media posts. My final choice was Vakkaru. My expectations regarding the location were exceeded — not only because of the stunning beauty of the place but also due to the outstanding service provided by the staff, especially our butler, Sato. I also need to mention the professionalism of the top manager — whose name I can’t quite remember — and the kindness of Rijal, who is responsible for the pool area. I will definitely return.

The rooms are new, just opened 02-2025. Staff was very nice, helpful, friendly, always smiling. The breakfast is 1 minut walk just round the corner. It was tasty and enough for adults. Bikini beach is ca 40 meters from hotel it was clean. Corals very nice with a lot of life and fisches. The owner Mohammed organised the transport from Male airport as domestic flight for reasonable price and then picked us up with speedboat at the domestic airport. By leaving the island he went with us to harbour to found a local ferry to another island. Everythink was perfect.
